GeoData Explorer supports ESRI ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, HUB site and Other ESRI Sites Feature Service (FeatureServer) Layers
This was a highly requested feature and we are thrilled to be able to include it and allow users to quickly integrate their data. Feature services allow you to serve feature data and nonspatial tables over the Internet or your intranet.
This makes your data available for use in web clients, desktop apps, and field apps. A feature server serves individual layers (aka features) as structured text (xml or json) as opposed to mapserver serves maps as images (png – jpeg – gif)
